Ugh. Understood way too completely. I, too, am coughing and feeling lousy; I'm also a bit nauseous, and my head and neck hurt (though my neck is better than earlier in the week). I was off today anyway and called out of volunteering at the thrift shop where I help organize the donations once a week. I figured if I was going to skip volunteering, a day where it never even hit 30 degrees and the wind was up to 30 miles an hour would be the right day to do it. My friend who manages the store called later and said she did make a fair amount of money for the weather, but there were no donations and would have been nothing for me to do anyway.
