The name
"Michael Crichton" always takes me back to Memorial Day weekend in 1971, when my best friend and I saw
The Andromeda Strain for the first time. We both fell in love with the film and I bought the novel two or three days later.
Over the years I've enjoyed many Crichton novels, including
Jurassic Park and
Timeline, but
Andromeda Strain remains my favorite. Thanks for the good reads, Michael. We'll miss you.
