New Orleans Being Clobbered
Hurricane Katrina damage; apparently part of the Superdome roof has come off. It was being used to shelter evacuees.

When you think about it, putting 30,000 people in what amounts to a giant tent (the roof of the Superdome is made of fabric) during a hurricane may not have been the brightest idea in the world.
